First animals we saw was on the first night after we started our trip. We stayed at Grundy, a lodge with its own animals. Impalas, kudu.

The following two mornings we sat at two different lookouts at Grundy's, both placed near water holes. From there we saw a lot of animals close up. First morning, 4 wilderbeasts (gnu) and a warthog came to drink. Second morning we saw heaps of impala, gnus, monkeys, a squirrel, various birds, among other chickens and eagles. At Grundy's we furthermore saw an ostrich and Linda saw zebras from the gyrocopter.

Next stop was Makgadikgadi pans where we stayed at Planet Baobab. Both evenings we saw elephants at the local water hole. During the day we saw ostriches, secretary birds, mongoons, and squirrel.

At Okavango Delta we saw lots of wildlife with our native guide Poifu. He showed us a lion, giraffes, zebras, impalas, elephants, baboon, various birds, among others an impressive yellow-beaked storch. Furthermore we saw a python and Klaus even saw a hippo.

In Chobe National Park we saw a lot of game from above: Elephants, buffalos, giraffes and various antilopes and grass-eaters. From the ground we saw: buffalos, elephants, hippos, lions, the native endangered (only 600) puku, crocodiles, and lots of birds.
